SMART KNIT & IS3F /485 represents the BTSR solution designed for an advanced production control for large diameter circular knitting machines. This system is composed of SMART KNIT Programming / Control Terminal combined to IS3F /485. MAIN BENEFITS SMART MATRIX KNIT Terminal is able to control up to 248 installed sensors, indicating any type of error checked during the production control (broken or missing yarns, uncut or wrong sliding yarns, wrong threading or wrong picking up errors). The electronic sensors IS3F/485 are able to measure and control the image variation of a running yarn put under inspection, indicating with absolute accuracy the relevant running or stop condition of the yarn itself. This is possible thanks to a sophisticated patented control technique (bidimensional analysis through an optical lens/ceramic unit). The bidimensional image variation technique, makes the IS3F.. device free from environmental conditions such as: machine vibrations, dust/dirtiness accumulation, water/oil contamination (IP67 certification), thus guaranteeing the full device performance even in the most critical applications. The IS3F.. devices are fully programmable and easily adaptable to the control of any type of yarn without count/typology restrictions. The installation of this advanced technological solution is able to eliminate at least 80% of the waste and seconds quality that would normally occur during production, additionally it will drastically reduce needle breakage and machines stoppages, allowing a rapid pay-back time of the investment effected.
