Description

Product overview
The maxiclave® is a mid-scale laboratory pressure reactor/autoclave designed for high-pressure (up to 200 bar) and high-temperature (up to 300 °C) experiments. Available in stirred and non-stirred configurations, it accepts two interchangeable reaction vessels (0.5 and 1.0 L). The stirred version uses a magnetic coupling stirrer drive (cyclone 075 dc, 75 Ncm). The system is suitable for chemical research, hydrogenation and other gas–liquid reactions, catalyst testing and process development. Optional PTFE (Teflon) inliners increase chemical resistance and an optional handling stand eases vessel manipulation.

Operating and options
Heating can be provided by laboratory hot plates, bath thermostats or electrical heating sleeves. Non-stirred versions can use magnetic stirring bars (driven by a hot plate) for mixing. For corrosive media PTFE/Teflon inliners are available. The stirred configuration uses a magnetic coupling stirrer drive (cyclone 075 dc). An optional handling stand facilitates vessel and cover plate handling and replacement.
