Description

Product overview
Range of BUNKER cement injection pumps available in electric single-phase, electric three-phase or air-driven versions. Designed for site mobility (low height, moderate weight, large castor wheels) and for precise pressure control via a pressure-switch and glycerine-filled gauge. Remote control with long cable is available on electronic models. Recommended for injecting cement grout for micropiles, consolidation and sealing of masonry, walls, rocks, dams and tunnels.

Models and brief descriptions
B1 — fully manual, compact for confined or difficult-access jobs.
B1E / B1E3 — 12 l/min nominal output; differ by drive type (single-phase/three-phase or unit configuration); cost-effective compromise for small to medium works.
B2 — 12 l/min output with dual large-capacity mixer for continuous mixing and pumping.
B3 — 24 l/min output with double mixer delivering the highest injected volume in the range. Air-driven variants available for non-electrified or explosion-risk sites.

Applications & working method
  • Working principle: Cement grout is injected at controlled pressure to fill cracks and voids, replacing degraded mortar and consolidating the substrate; deeper penetration improves effectiveness.
  • Site preparation: Ensure site safety, locate consolidation zones (tapping test), drill injection holes (≈3–4 per m²) by rotary coring to minimise vibration, wash the cavity and repair visible fractures before injection.
  • Mixture and pressure settings: Typical mix ratio 0.5–0.8 (cement:water) depending on product. Adjust injection pressure with the pressure-switch/gauge; recommended working range 0.5–1.5 bar for fragile masonry, up to 15 bar for standard pumping; check pressure at the highest point for long pumping heights.

Technical details and components
BUNKER pumps feature a cast-iron pumping unit with chrome-plated pistons/valves for high wear resistance and long service life. Motor plus maintenance-free gearbox provides reciprocating movement. Sealing uses abrasion-resistant polyurethane gaskets. Units are designed for easy dismantling, cleaning and maintenance.
  • Electric panel: Impact- and splash-protected, with thermal cut-out, phase inverter (where applicable), emergency stop and hour counter.
  • Remote control: Electronic models supplied with a push-button panel on a 20 m cable for activation at the injection point.
  • Pumping unit: Chrome-plated pistons, easy to dismantle for cleaning; prevents clogging and sustains high injected volumes.
  • Pressure-switch & gauge: Standard; automatic stop at set pressure; glycerine-filled gauge for stable reading.
  • Drain valve: Discharges mixture into lower agitator before pumping; operates by compressing a rubber tube (no metal contact with cement).
  • Upper mixer: Supplied with safety grid and designed blades for homogeneous mixing.
  • Water loading: Ball cock connected to mixer for easy water supply; air motor option available on request.

Available accessories
Expansion nozzles, injection tubing, couplings and other accessories for grout injection operations; specify required lance length and fittings when ordering.
