CacheGuard Appliance is a bare metal or virtual machine powered by CacheGuard-OS. The result is called CacheGuard-HW (for CacheGuard Hardware) or CacheGuard-VE (for CacheGuard Virtual Edition). To make a CacheGuard Appliance, we install CacheGuard-OS on a machine with appropriate resources (CPU, RAM…) and provide you with the resulted ready to plug network appliance.

CacheGuard-VE (Virtual Edition) is a virtual appliance built according to your requirements. CacheGuard-VE is tested and certified on most well-known visualization systems supporting the OVA and/or VHD formats such as but not limited to VMware and Hyper-V. CacheGuard-VE is offered either as an OVA (Open Virtual Appliance) or VHD (Virtual Hard Disk) files to download and import into your visualization system.
By choosing CacheGuard-HW you benefit from the guaranty of having a certified hardware appliance for your critical needs. Different CacheGuard-HW models are available according to the number of users that you need to handle. As an example, the CacheGuard mini Appliance is designed to handle up to 10 users.
