Description

Spooling Machine for Narrow Strips and Technical Materials | Calemard

The Calemard's spooling machine for narrow strips is designed for the slitting and spooling of narrow strips, tapes, films, adhesive materials and technical products requiring high-precision winding. Thanks to its precisely controlled product guiding system, the spooling technology distributes the strip evenly across the entire spool width, producing compact, stable spools with excellent unwinding quality.

Compared with conventional winding, the spool winding technology enables the production of spools containing 20 to 50 times more material, while maintaining outstanding unwinding performance. This significantly reduces spool changeovers, improves production efficiency, lowers logistics costs and optimizes downstream converting operations.

Designed for the most demanding materials, Calemard slitting and spooling lines are available with two spooling technologies to meet the requirements of every application.

SPOOLING TECHNOLOGIES
Moving Spool Technology
This technology is particularly suitable for sensitive, tacky, slippery or multilayer materials. The moving spool design minimizes mechanical stress during winding and produces perfectly formed spools, even with the most delicate materials.

Conventional Spooling Technology
The traversing guide arm system is recommended for narrow, stable products running at high production speeds. It produces compact, high-density spools ideally suited for automatic unwinding operations.
