Automatic Winder for Nonwoven, Plastic Film and Adhesive Production Lines | VELA

The Calemard® VELA automatic winder is designed to continuously produce high-quality rolls from nonwoven, plastic film, and adhesive production lines. Thanks to its in-line tangential winding technology, it performs winding operations, as well as slitting or edge trimming when required, without reducing line speed, while ensuring continuous web tension control and consistent roll quality.

Reliable and fully automated, the VELA winder is particularly suited for tension-sensitive materials. Its ultra-low winding tension, adjustable roll compaction and precise tension control help preserve material properties while improving production efficiency and roll quality.
