Duplex Turret Slitter-rewinder for Extrusion Lines | Calemard

The Calemard® Duplex Turret Slitter-rewinder is designed for continuous winding of plastic films, rubber, nonwovens and technical materials directly downstream of extrusion lines. Its patented turret winding system enables automatic roll change without stopping or slowing down the production line, ensuring maximum productivity and uninterrupted operation.

Engineered for the most demanding industrial applications, including tire manufacturing, technical films, nonwovens and battery electrode production, this automatic slitter rewinder performs inline slitting and continuous rewinding of narrow strips down to 20 mm wide. Complete process automation minimizes material waste, maximizes operator safety and significantly improves production efficiency.

CONFIGURATION
Thanks to its modular design, the slitter-rewinder duplex turret can be configured with a wide range of modules:
  • Dual liner unwinder: complete with web guiding, positioning and automatic splicing for continuous liner feeding.
  • Accumulator: provides a buffer storage capacity of up to 60 meters of material.
  • Inline slitting station: longitudinal slitting module featuring quick knife adjustment and edge trim extraction with trim separation and rewind/recycling.
  • Automatic duplex turret rewinder: incorporates precise gap winding control to ensure stable, continuous non-stop winding.
  • Robotic unloading cell: automatically unloads finished rolls without operator intervention.

A version equipped with our patented continuous spooling (traverse winding) technology is also available for very long-length products.
