A vibrating screen is the oldest type of system that uses the undulating and shaking motion to separate the material from the dust/swarf present in the material and distribute the material homogeneously over the entire surface of the vibrating screen for more efficient separation in subsequent phases. It is usually cascade mounted with the inductor separation system, which works optimally only if the material to be separated advances at a constant rate. It is also used for materials sprayed with water. The pierced bottom ensures permeability and consequently conveys the water to the lower level equipped with a drain pipe.
