Compact filters are often used as a second filter stage in the supply air, either as last filter stage for industrial, commercial and residential applications or as second pre-filter stage for cleanroom applications. Compact filters need less space (depth) in air handling systems than bag filters. The Opakfil GT is a cost effective solution for areas with dry environments where considerations hygroscopic dust are less important. Its unique geometry provides greater inlet area than any other V-shaped filter, resulting in a much lower pressure drop.
