The Carl Stahl patented hook design creates a magnetic field. As the opened hook nears the load, the hook aligns itself in a 90° position to the lifting eye bringing it in the correct position. The operator then uses the digital remote control to close the hook. The process saves time with the load attachment, lift and transport because the operator never manually intervenes. Once the hook is closed with a load, it cannot be opened again. This hook unit is 30% lighter than its predecessor. The hook movement is controlled by a rugged gear drive and an electric motor, that is protected by a slipping clutch. The forged load hook comes with a stainless steel spring loaded safety latch.
