Inline closure MOG-S is designed for all types of city cables. It can be installed in manholes and collectors. MOG-S closure can be placed on consoles. The closure features two oval shaped ports. Thus, the closure may be used at the same time for the input of transition cable loop and for the input of two cables with diameter of up to 25 mm. In both cases Transit Loop Sealing Kit should be separately purchased. Endpieces are sealed in the housing using heat shrinkable tubes. Reopening and resealing is made using heat shrinkable sleeves. Cable ports are sealed using heat shrinkable tubes. Round ports on splice closure endpiece are initially sealed and have stepped configuration with various diameters. Slitting a port sleeve in a certain place, you may choose an opening as close as possible to accommodate the diameter of the entered cable. In this way excessive tension of heat shrinkable tube after shrinkage is eliminated when entering comparatively thin cables. All ports of the splice closure are also equipped with individual units for central strength member anchorage. Basic splice tray for MOG-S closure is K48-4525 which allows using the closure for splicing cables with different number of fibers in loose tubes, ensuring accommodation of any loose tubes in the tray wholly, without adapters.
