Wood mortiser BETA

The new BETA 3 axis cnc automatic swing chisel mortiser, has been developed using the most recent technical solutions, such as: • axis traverse with brushless motors, • lead screws with precision recirculating balls. • linear guides with sliding blocks It allows quick and accurate mortising on window and door parts, and also stair and furniture components in general. Thanks to the Graphic Touch-Screen controller with USB port, programming and setup adjustments are very easy and intuitive allowing an extremely quick working change-over. Also manual working out of the mortise slot positions is no longer required as all this information is memorised by the machine controller. Another great advantage of the BETA is the movement and automatic expulsion of the pieces, even with significant thickness and length, without any operator intervention during the entire work cycle. All this is achieved on a very solid machine base having significantly reduced overall dimensions. BETA is available in 3 different configurations: • with swing chisel (basic version) • with swing chisel + hollow chisel head • with swing chisel + router head 1 - Possibility of making double slots in just one entry with double chisel. The programmable swing chisel allows to make slots of all sizes on door or window components. 2 - List of programmed mortising. 3 - The optional hollow chisel head, totally programmable, allows the execution of small square holes ( 6-12 mm max.) on door or window parts for the introduction of intermediate wooden strips (English style – Glazing bars). Also with the hollow chisel head it is possible to make vertical mortise slots thanks to the programmable Z axis operation.
