The ROTATEX™ GE600 E100A complex comprises a blended glass and PET laid scrim affixed to a calendered 100 gsm non-woven PET layer.
This laid scrim is designed for applications involving scraping. The quality of the non-woven layer prevents any problems relating to poorly distributed fibers and variations in thickness and visual appearance, which are unacceptable in scraping operations.
The non-woven layer gives the complex considerable resistance to puncture, while the laid scrim ensures tensile strength and dimensional stability, owing to the glass and the elongation at break typical of PET.
The bonding agent ensures flawless adhesion between the laid scrim and the non-woven layer, thus avoiding any delamination during the various stages in the process.
