Product OverviewThe Auto GCMS C10C40 is a transportable, ultra-compact gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) system for continuous analysis and identification of light semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) from C10 to C40 in gases, liquids and solids. The integrated GC–QMS workflow supports quantification from low ppt levels up to percent concentrations, providing versatile on-site and laboratory-capable measurements.
Key Features- Comprehensive sample capability:
- Analyzes gas, liquid and solid matrices, including Bisphenol‑A and methyl stearate.
- Validates linear alkanes up to C40 (boiling point ≈ 522°C) and detects polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) up to C22, including benzo[ghi]perylene (boiling point ≈ 550°C).
- Integrated thermal management and utilities:
- Heated selection valve for GC and internal cooling for the mass spectrometer to maintain instrument stability.
- Built‑in hydrogen generator (Hydroxychrom USB 4U) and airmoCAL permeation calibration system for traceable calibrations.
- Flexible sampling and injection:
- Supports direct air monitoring by injection into the QMS or via GC separation.
- Heated sampling lines and a flexible injector enable analysis of liquids and extracts from solids.
- Software control and data management:
- Managed by Vistachrom and VISTAMS software for full traceability, remote monitoring and injection control.
- Features include archiving of chromatograms and results, QC alarms and data export via MODBUS / 4‑20 mA / 0‑10 V.
Applications- Continuous monitoring of SVOCs and PAHs in ambient air, stack emissions and industrial environments.
- Analysis of contaminants extracted from solid materials (e.g., plastics such as PET) and industrial oils.
- Quantification of target compounds in gas and liquid samples for environmental monitoring, process control and research.
