OverviewWall-mounted industrial computer/box dedicated to the analyzer. Supplied with Vistachrom suite (Windows XP delivery optional). Screen, keyboard and mouse are not supplied.
Remote displayVisualization system and automatic report generation on configurable periods.
- 19in display in a control room for immediate values from multiple ports.
- Data printing in the control room
- Automatic averaging function every 8 hours
- On-demand printing (rolling average, selected period)
- Data trend storage for historical review
Automation moduleThe Automation module allows user-defined automated computations: averages, specific historical files, logging and alarm computations.
ObjectiveAutomatic computation of multiple compound average values: H2S, RSH, THT, total sulphur compounds and odorization factor.
GeneralAnalysis results are stored in a Real Time DataBase (RTDB).
The Math module aggregates current and previous results, computes averages and evaluates alarm conditions. Processed data are written to designated locations within the RTDB.
The Modbus driver continuously reads required data from the RTDB and exposes them to DCS/SCADA systems via Modbus protocol.
To enable communication, Modbus client requests must be configured in the host DCS or PLC.
Monthly historical files collect substance results and are archived in CSV format for easy import into spreadsheets or databases.
Calibration standard (DMS) results can be logged on request in a separate monthly file.
Alarm computingAlarm calculations are executed at each result release.
Alarms can be acknowledged through the Vistachrom suite.
All alarm thresholds are stored in a dedicated .ini file.
Alarm status changes are time-stamped and recorded in monthly text log files.
Security handlingCalibration substance follow-up:
- A deviation alarm against the target value is computed.
- The target value is recalculated after each calibration during analyzer metrological follow-up.
Hardware fault handling- The Math module monitors analyzer error reports, validates errors and triggers specific hardware alarms.
- An alarm is raised if the analyzer fails to deliver results within a predefined timeout.
Software fault handling- Each Vistachrom runtime program generates a life signal in the RTDB that can be reported to external DCS via the Modbus driver. These life signals confirm correct software operation.
- All hardware and software alarms are time-stamped and logged in monthly system text files.
