Consisting of a worm screw, the worm screw system can be used to adapt speed and/or torque, as well as to change the axis of rotation, all with a minimum of space. The reduction ratio can be very high with a small footprint. To determine which worm and wheel gearbox is right for you, you need to know at least the reduction ratio and the desired output torque. If possible, choose a service factor greater than 1 for intensive use.
