These 2 flute Down cut endmills are designed to force swarf downward into your cut leaving for a very clean top finish. Opposite to a spiral up cut, a down cut will give you a perfect top finish but a burred bottom finish. These endmills will produce some excellent engravings but due to the nature of the design they are not recommended for cutting all the waythrough materials as they will leave a rough bottom finish. Our PRO endmill range are made using high grade tungsten carbide coated a specialized DLC (diamond like coating) designed to out last and out perform conventional uncoated carbide cutters. The coating is designed to reduce wear and tear and dissipate heat leaving your jobs with a crisp clean finish. These endmills are rated for full commercial and industrial use on a regular basis.
