Synthesizer WaveMakers®

Generate arbitrary optical spectral shapes with FWHM widths as narrow as 10 GHz and with slopes to 600 dB/nm, with a range of programming options. The WaveMaker® family are programmable optical spectrum synthesizers which allow generation of arbitrary spectral shapes. Models are available for coverage of C-, Super-C and the C+L Band with optical output power levels of up to 20 dBm. The WaveMaker 4000A also supports the addition of signals from external sources, such as modulated channels. Ideal for testing environments, the WaveMaker® family includes a WaveShaper engine and a host of programming options, including API, GUI or a spectrum definition file.
