Moving bed bio filter made of PE plastic for water treatment in aquacultures. Colasit designs, plans, produces and installs moving bed filters for organic water treatment according to customer requirements. Our moving bed bio filters are made of polyethylene (PE-HD). The design in welded polyethylene plastic (PE-HD) provides the following benefits when compared to concreted moving or fixed bed filters: - Anti-adhesive properties and therefore no encrustation - Resistant to microorganisms, bacteria, fungi or spores - No resins or paints with solvents or plasticisers - Very robust even at temperatures as low as -50°C - Long service life - Easy to retrofit connections
