Description

The GEO 205 is a compact and highly versatile crawler-mounted drill rig engineered for geotechnical and environmental site investigation projects requiring maximum flexibility, mobility and multi-application capability. Designed as a true multipurpose drilling platform, the GEO 205 can perform a wide range of drilling and in-situ testing methods including conventional and wire-line coring, hollow stem augering, rotary open-hole drilling, dynamic sampling, SPT, and monitoring well installation. The rig can operate with different flushing systems including air, water, mud, polymer and air-mist, allowing contractors to adapt efficiently to varying ground conditions and project requirements. Its compact dimensions, low operating weight and rubber crawler tracks make the GEO 205 particularly suitable for urban jobsites, environmentally sensitive areas and restricted-access locations where transportability and reduced ground disturbance are essential. The modular mast configuration also enables drilling operations in low headroom conditions and beneath structures such as forecourt canopies and inside buildings.
