Efficiency for big outputs The Comexi S1 MT slitter is a mono-turret machine designed to obtain excellent results in those jobs that require working with rigid or semi-rigid materials -non stretchable- and with big outputs reels. The Comexi S1 MT stands out because of its rotating turret’s capacity for continuous production with large and heavy reels, as well as for its high level of unloading automation. Because of its ALWS fixed horizontal lay-on-roller, the Comexi S1 MT guarantees an increase in cutting and rewinding quality. The slitter incorporates control systems that give actual readings at all times. The direct connection between the motor and the shaft provides a more efficient response and the machine can work comfortably at high speeds. Consistent with the rest of Comexi slitters, the slitting area indistinctly uses blades or circular knives. It avoids using spacers for the bottom shafts when using circular blades, so it decreases the changeover time.
