Overview
Continental's ContiCleat cleated conveyor belts are engineered for demanding conveying tasks: steep inclines, bulk material handling and applications that require positive product support. U‑ and V‑shaped profiles and a wide variety of cleat geometries are available to match material properties and incline angles. Carcass options include fabric or steel‑cord constructions where higher tensile strength is required.

Grips Overview

• Wave Grip: Continuous cleat pattern. Cleats 6" width on 6" centers, 1/4" height. Most common pattern. Cleat Height: 1/4 in.
• Wave Grip Plus: Continuous chevron pattern enabling quiet transitions with minimal vibration; suitable for various products and package handling. Cleat Height: 1/8 in.
• Bucket Grip: Cleats 3/16" height, 2" wide with 1" spacing; ideal for fine bulk materials. Full‑width slit‑able construction. Cleat Height: 3/16 in.
• Bucket Grip II: Repeating cleat 1/4" height × 3/8" width, fully slit‑able. Cleat Height: 1/4 in.
• Signal: Good load‑carrying cleats 1/2" high × 1/2" deep; 78° side cleat angle helps center loads; suited for larger material. Cleat Height: 1/2 in.
• Backbone: Designed for moving bulk material up an incline; smooth, quiet return. Backbone 3/4" high × 3/4" deep with 30° bevel and 90° side‑to‑side cleat angle. Cleat Height: 3/4 in.
• Backbone Plus: Stepped cleat 1 1/4" height on 23° angle with 90° side‑by‑side cleat; 9" spacing for steep inclines; overlapping and beveled ends for quiet return. Cleat Height: 1 1/4 in.
• Flux: Staggered chevron allowing water and small material to roll back through a 6" gap; cleats 1" × 1" at 85° with 12" spacing; suited where water drainage is essential. Cleat Height: 1 in.
• Ultra Shift: Large bucket pattern with cleats 1/2" high × 1/2" wide on a 30° bevel at 6" intervals; smooth transitions with minimal vibration. Cleat Height: 1/2 in.
• Ultra Shift II: Similar to Ultra Shift with inward slant to help keep product centered. Cleat Height: 1/2 in.
• Master Grip: For aggregate, sand and gravel (common in stone flinger belts). Cleat Height: 3/8 in.
• Crest Grip: Roofing industry use; typical belt width ≈ 14" with cleat patterns 8" or 10" width and 2" height. Cleat Height: 2 in.
• Quadgrip: Impression top surface 1/8" (3 mm) height; suitable for packaging, lumber and general handling. Available in Black, Blue and Tan. Cleat Height: 1/8 in.

Belts for transport of paper rolls
Profiled paper‑roll belts for paper mills are designed to secure rolls during transport while minimizing marking on paper. These belts can be supplied with fabric or steel‑cord carcasses according to mill requirements.
