Overview
CORAL pressurized booths are modular industrial enclosures engineered to provide a controlled painting, drying and air‑treatment environment protected from external contamination. They integrate with TECNODRY / EURODRY dry booths or ZINCOVELO water‑curtain booths and can include pressurization systems, CTA air handling units, hot air generators and optional KARB activated‑carbon post‑filtration.

Technical description
The enclosure is built from modular sandwich panels with an inner or outer 1.5 mm press‑formed metal skin and an 80 kg/m³ rock‑wool insulation core. Cabin footprints are configurable (examples: 3×4, 3×6, 3×8, 4×4, 4×6, 4×8, 5×6, 5×8, 5×10, 5×12, 6×6, 6×8, 6×10, 6×12 m) with a clear height under the filter canopy of 3 m. Configurable items include glazed/solid panel combinations, double doors 2 × 2.1 m H or single doors 1 × 2.1 m H, IP65 lighting every 2 m along long sides, a filter plenum, and electrical/air connections to the AHU or generator.

CTA units and KARB post‑filtration
CTA units supply filtered air for pressurization with or without heating; flow range 6,000–26,000 m³/h (models CTA1–CTA5), fan power 3–7.5 kW, sound levels 69–74 dB(A). The KARB activated‑carbon module treats gaseous painting emissions: flows 9,500–29,000 m³/h, activated carbon 330–550 kg, bed thickness 80 mm, max face velocity 0.5 m/s, contact time ~0.16 s; includes regenerable corrugated panels and a double‑inlet fan.

Operation
Filtered outside air is treated by the CTA or hot air generator and injected through the filter plenum into the booth at a constant temperature, creating positive pressure that limits ingress of dust and contaminants. Overspray‑laden air is drawn from the paint booth front into the filtration train; a centrifugal fan discharges filtered air outside. Pressure sensors provide 4–20 mA or 0–10 V signals to a Master inverter coordinating a Slave inverter to regulate supply and exhaust fans. The touchscreen allows configuration, monitoring of parameters and progressive filter clogging indicators.
