Overview
CORAL soundproof enclosures are designed to reduce noise from industrial fans and improve acoustic comfort in air extraction, ventilation and filtration systems. They are intended for industrial applications where it is necessary to contain fan noise while maintaining structural integrity, accessibility and integration with system ductwork. Available in sizes Box 1 to Box 7, the enclosures are constructed from galvanized steel sandwich panels with a sound-absorbing and sound-insulating internal lining. The COMPOSIT version offers approximately 10 dB(A) noise reduction. The PLUS version adds a soundproof floor and can be fitted with optional cooling labyrinths for high-pressure fans.

Technical description
The COMPOSIT version uses galvanized steel sandwich panels lined internally with a high-density 100% polyester fiber mat that provides both sound-absorbing and sound-insulating properties. Insulation thickness is 50 mm to effectively reduce fan noise propagation. Each enclosure is furnished with vibration-damping mounts for the fan base and flanged vibration-damping couplings at the inlet and outlet to limit transmission of mechanical vibrations to structure and ducting. The PLUS version is based on COMPOSIT and adds a soundproof base; for high-pressure or high-vacuum fans, two optional cooling labyrinths can be provided to ensure motor cooling while preserving acoustic performance.

Operation
The enclosure attenuates noise by enclosing the industrial fan within an acoustically insulated cabinet: the internal polyester fiber lining absorbs sound energy while the galvanized sheet metal structure contains and isolates noise propagation to the external environment. Vibration-damping mounts reduce vibration transmission to the enclosure base; vibration-damping couplings at inlet and outlet limit vibration transmission to the ductwork. In PLUS configurations for high-pressure fans, cooling ducts allow motor cooling airflow without compromising soundproofing, delivering an integrated solution for noise and vibration control in extraction, filtration and ventilation systems.
