The storage and dispensing tank for wood chips, with mobile rake extractors and a screw conveyor dispenser, features self-supporting modular panels, a hydraulic handling system, and an electric power supply. The modular tank model Elephant 15 has a capacity of up to 15 cubic meters of wood chips, with top loading and dispensing via a volumetric screw conveyor that ensures a constant material flow. The mobile rakes, automatically activated by the hydraulic system, are positioned on the tank floor to ensure complete emptying of the material. The total installed electrical power is just 6.5 kW, which powers the screw conveyor motor reducer and, through the overfill sensors and inverter, manages the anti-jamming system of the tank. All functions are controlled by a dedicated PLC.
