Electromagnetic fire door retainers allow fire doors to be legally held open in high foot traffic areas, reducing touchpoints and allowing access for all. When the fire alarm is active, fire doors can be released by the panel.
Conventional door retainers require separate connections to power and fire alarm system signals. By using the fire system to power the door holder, most of the installation labour is reduced and additional components such as power supplies or I/O devices are not required.
