The machining of a recess, which was largest compared with the entry hole, was made possible with this special tool developed especially for this purpose. In this case the special solution was the only way to get the target (recess turning). Therefore it is important to maintain a frank and open dialogue with the customer and direct it towards special solutions only if they are really necessary. As it should be in the opposite case, when no standard tool is able to perform the required machining, the way to choose a special tool is the only possible one. Only in this way the results achieved are really appreciated, because they were born from the collaboration of all involved stakeholders.
