Description

NDIR Anesthesia Gas Sensor MED-MZ001 Discription Cubic MED-MZ001 is an anesthesia multi-gas sensor developed for simultaneous and continuous monitoring of CO2, N2O and anesthetic agents including Sevoflurane, Desflurane and Isoflurane in patient respiratory gases. Utilizing advanced NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) technology, MED-MZ001 provides precise measurements with rapid response for real-time gas monitoring. It features strong resistance to cross-gas interference, ensuring accurate measurements in complex gas mixtures. Equipped with integrated pressure and temperature compensation algorithms, MED-MZ001 delivers reliable measurements across varying environmental conditions. Its compact design enables seamless integration into anesthesia machines. MED-MZ001 provides a high-performance sensing solution for anesthesia monitoring applications in operating rooms and critical care environments. Features •NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) technology •Simultaneous detection of Sevoflurane, Desflurane, Isoflurane, N2O, and CO2 concentrations •Strong resistance to cross-gas interference •High accuracy measurement •Fast Response •Long-term stability •Compact and lightweight design Basic performance - Detecting principle: NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) technology - Measurement gas 1): Sevoflurane(C4H3F7O), Desflurane(C3H2F6O),, Isoflurane(C3H2ClF5O),CO₂, N₂O - Measurement range: Sevoflurane: 0 - 8 %Vol; Desflurane: 0 - 18 %Vol; Isoflurane: 0 - 5 %Vol; CO₂: 0 - 15 %Vol; N₂O: 0 - 100 %Vol" - Accuracy: Sevoflurane, Desflurane, Isoflurane: ±(0.15% Vol + 5% of reading); CO₂: ±(0.2% Vol + 2% of reading); N₂O: ±(2 %Vol+ 2% of reading) @ N₂O≤85%Vol - Resolution: Sevoflurane, Desflurane, Isoflurane: 0.15% Vol; CO₂, N₂O: 0.1% Vol - Sampling frequency: 100Hz - Startup Time: ≤30s - Response time 2): Sevoflurane, Desflurane, Isoflurane: T90< 600ms; CO₂, N₂O: T90< 250ms - Sampling method: Suction Air pump - Protection level: IP65 - Output: RS232 - Dimensions: 45.5mm*32.0mm*29.5mm - Lifetime: ≥10years - Shell material: Photosensitive resin Environmental conditions Working temperature: 10 ~40℃ (50 - 104℉) Storage temperature: -25 ~ 60℃(-13 - 140℉) Working humidity: 10-98%RH (non-condensing) Storage humidity: 10-90%RH (non-condensing) Working pressure: 660~1060mbar (with pressure compensation) Storage pressure: 500~1060mbar Electrical specifications Power supply: 5V±5% DC Average Working Current 3): 300mA (@25℃,5V) Remark: 1) The sensor can simultaneously detect anesthetic gas (one of sevoflurane, desflurane, isoflurane) and CO₂, N₂O concentrations. 2) The response time is measured by passing 120mL/min of gas into the sensor at a background gas concentration of 60% of the full scale. 3) The current is measured at room temperature condition, and it may vary at high temperature or low temperature condition.
