Description

The DACH Special series was developed for environments where the applicant requires highly specialized respiratory protection. These masks provide excellent protection and multiple other benefits. In addition to the protection against particulate matter, protection from low concentration of gases and vapors can be required for some application fields. In highly specialized fields such as explosive atmospheres or magnetic environments protective equipment is required to have certain properties to allow a safe application, such as to contain no metal parts. Until now masks have been held together by metal clips and form fitted around the nose ridge with metallic nose clips, thus making them unsuitable for the application within explosion-risk areas and magnetic fields. This unique respirator has been developed to ensure secure protection against viruses, bacteria and particulate matter within these specialized fields that do not allow application of equipment containing any metal parts. With the integrated exhalation valve you will be able to catch a breath - even under physically challenging operations. This state-of-the-art valve prohibits heat and humidity accumulation in the mask by allowing the exhalation air to exit, maintaining a perfect barrier against harmful substances in the environment, by prohibiting air and substances from entering the mask from the outside. The metal-free design is suitable for the use in magnetic resonance scanners (MRI) and EX-areas.
