Quayside slab crane is the specialized lifting equipment used on the terminals of steel plant and shipyard for handling plate and finished profile steel. The quayside slab cranes developed and manufactured by DHHI follow the Design Rules for Crane and international design and manufacture standards and specifications FEM, DIN, IEC, AWS, etc. The quayside slab crane mainly consists of various load lifting appliances, steel structures, hoisting mechanism, boom luffing mechanism, trolley, travelling mechanism, machine house, etc. The main hoisting mechanism, traversing mechanism, boom luffing mechanism and travelling mechanism are of advanced AC VVVF technology and powered via the cable drum. The crane is provided with various mechanical and electrical safety protection devices to ensure safety and reliability in in-service state and overall stability in out-of-service state.
