Description

Dieffenbacher Dryer emission control systems are customized wet scrubber systems, primarily for the separation of dust. Water droplets are targeted introduced into the gas stream, where they interact with the gas and the particles it contains. The particles and soluble gas components are bound in the scrubbing liquid and reliably separated from the gas by the optimized co-current cyclone. The integrated water treatment ensures that impurities, such as wood particles, can be safely discharged from the system and disposed of. Optionally, scrubber systems can be equipped with heat recovery units to recover thermal energy from the exhaust gas stream. An application-specific additive dosing system can be installed to significantly increase the removal rate of water-soluble VOCs, such as formaldehyde. Application MDF/HDF panel industry Particleboard industry OSB industry Pellet industry Customer benefits One source, no additional interfaces Reliable design for high uptime Minimal fresh water demand Customized solutions Low space requirement Budget friendly scrubber systems Technical features Applicable for horizontal and vertical (downstream) operation Combines the advantages of axial centrifugal separators with wet scrubbers Reduced pressure drop and minimal water demand Optional: works as an absorption unit
