The skimmers separate the floating phase in a liquid reservoir and recover it by gravity. There are two configurations: active and passive.

Types

• Active skimmer: floating assembly coupled to a TF automatic pump; enables direct recovery of product at the surface via the delivery pipe.
• Passive skimmer: accumulation tank; emptied manually by an operator through a drain valve.
