Description

With the new TÜV-certified softstarter with DC-Brake GF 9229 from the COMBISTART series, DOLD presents a powerful and reliable 2-in-1 device for smooth, energy-saving starting and gentle braking of asynchronous motors up to 30 kW. In accordance with the requirements of Cat. 2, PL c from EN 13849-1 as well as SIL 1 according to DIN EN 61508, the following functions are implemented: Prevention of unexpected and fault-related starting, monitored and controlled stopping, control of the safety gate interlock and motor standstill monitoring. Additional motor safety is provided by the integrated thermal overload protection, which is activated as standard for motor temperature monitoring. Thanks to its combination of softstarter and braking device and its compact size for the power class, the softstarter is ideal for use in processing machines with large centrifugal masses, especially in wood processing according to DIN EN 12750, as well as for systems such as centrifuges, vibrators and fans. The 2-phase controlled GF 9229 enables an efficient and fast commissioning by a self-optimizing soft start and braking process. An ergonomic design with pluggable connection technology and push-in cage clamp terminals allows very rapid installation. A wide range of device parameters can be set in a user-friendly manner thanks to a clear and simple menu structure via LCD display.
