The animal manure rotary dryer is a high-efficiency, continuous drying equipment designed specifically for processing high-moisture, high-viscosity organic waste, such as livestock manure (cow dung, chicken manure, pig manure). This equipment rapidly reduces the moisture content of manure (usually from 60%-80% to 10%-30%) through multi-stage contact between high-temperature hot air and the material, and finally produces dry, odorless organic fertilizer raw materials or feed that are easy to store or further process. Its closed operating mode effectively reduces environmental pollution while achieving the resource utilization of waste, making it widely used in farms, organic fertilizer plants, and environmental protection projects.
System
The core process of the animal manure rotary dryer is based on the synergy between the mechanical movement of the rotating drum and thermal drying:
1. Feeding and Dispersion: Wet manure enters the rotating drum through a conveying device. The lifting plates inside the drum throw and scatter the material repeatedly, forming a uniform “material curtain”;
2. Heat Exchange: The hot air furnace (supporting various heat sources such as gas, oil, and biomass, coal, etc.) generates high-temperature hot air, which contacts the material in a counterflow or co-current manner to evaporate moisture rapidly;
3. Sterilization and Deodorization: The high-temperature kills pathogens and insect eggs, and the closed system, along with supporting dust removal equipment (such as cyclone dust collectors and water film dust collectors), reduces ammonia and dust emissions.
