DOPAG offers individually configured greasing stations for the manual application of lubricants. The component to be lubricated is positioned in the station by hand. Dispensing is activated by a push button or foot pedal. The advantage: precise and repeatable material application with the optimum quantity and dispersion of lubricant.
- Maximum flexibility thanks to individual configuration: The optimum solution is available for every component geometry
- Optimised material feeding thanks to 3D printing: Reduced material consumption, no additional work required
- Whether external, internal or dot application: All types of lubrication can be implemented and combined
- Multiple lubrication points can be applied simultaneously: Optimised cycle times and increased productivity
- High repeatability, reproducibility and process reliability thanks to volumetric metering (< ±1 percent)
- Attractive alternative to conventional brush application: Amortisation after just a few months
The greasing station is ideal for compact, semi-automated or manual workstations. Components with O-rings or other seals to be lubricated can be greased or oiled at a manual workstation. Operation is simple: the component is positioned in the adapter by hand. Pressing down on the component triggers dispensing via a mechanical switch. The lubricant is dispensed and evenly applied to the component.
Thanks to the component positioning system, the material is applied to the component with repeated accuracy. Compared to manual application with a brush, there is no need for reworking and contamination is avoided. A status LED also provides feedback to the operator as to whether the metering process has been carried out successfully.
Grease adapter for uniform lubrication of a cylinder inner surface
Volumetric metering valves are typically used. Depending on the valve type and size, metering quantities from 0.001 ml up to several millilitres can be achieved. The valves are almost independent of pressure, viscosity and temperature fluctuations and therefore achieve a high level of repeatability and process reliability.
Greasing stations are customised to the component. Individualised adapters can be used to cover a wide range of application patterns such as external and internal greasing, dot application or combinations. Several greasing points can be lubricated at the same time. Thanks to many years of experience and specialisation in this area, DOPAG will provide you with the optimum solution for your component.
Thanks to optimised material feeding, material loss and cycle times are reduced. The investment in a greasing station instead of brush application often pays for itself after just a few months.
Design of the greasing station
- Component-specific grease adapter
- Metering valve
- Housing cover with integrated status LED
- Material supply
Possible configurations of grease adapters
The grease adapters are customised precisely to the component. This allows the grease to be applied cleanly, saves material and increases quality and reproducibility. The grease adapters are typically manufactured using 3D printing processes.
- Geometric freedom enables ideal material distribution.
- Flow-optimised material guidance reduces material loss and increases the dispensing speed.
- Metal or plastic printing freely selectable, depending on material properties and process variables.
Easy to operate
Operation is simple, with a status LED indicating whether the material has been applied correctly. The same amount of material is always dispensed and applied. This makes the lubrication station completely reliable.
