Description

Overview
The volumetric shot valve provides contactless, high-speed and high-precision metering for greases and oils. It delivers micro-volumes reliably (metering accuracy better than ±2%) and supports production demands with up to 30 shots per second and a service life up to 50 million identical, leak-free doses.

Key benefits
  • Contactless application with metering accuracy better than ±2%
  • Dispensing of very small volumes (> 0.001 ml) at high throughput (up to 30 shots/s)
  • Long service life: up to 50 million identical, leak-free doses
  • Wide range of nozzle sizes and types for flexible application

Precise shot technology
Volumetric shot metering enables accurate, repeatable deposition of lubricants on complex shapes and surfaces. Typical dose ranges offered:
  • 0.001 – 0.020 ml
  • 0.005 – 0.048 ml

Simplify your metering system
Because the valve meters volumetrically, operation is largely independent of temperature, pressure and viscosity fluctuations. This can eliminate the need for additional regulators or temperature control, reducing system components, maintenance and error sources.

Maximum service life & reliability
The valve operates at a lower material inlet pressure (< 13 bar) compared with typical pressure-time shot valves (> 20 bar), reducing stress and wear on seals and closing elements and decreasing base-oil/thickener separation during micro-dosing.

Easy maintenance
Low-maintenance design: wear parts are replaceable in a few simple steps without changing the entire valve, minimising downtime and spare-part cost.

Nozzle variants & options
  • Various nozzle sizes and types with different shot directions
  • Solenoid valve for air drive
  • Heating
  • Stroke detection

Technical specifications
  • Contactless volumetric metering for shot volumes from 0.001 – 0.048 ml (typical ranges: 0.001–0.020 ml and 0.005–0.048 ml)
  • Metering accuracy: better than ±2%
  • Maximum frequency: up to 30 shots/s
  • Viscosity range: NLGI 0 – 3
  • Material inlet pressure: 0.5 – 13 bar
  • Drive pressure (air): 2.5 – 7 bar
  • Service life: up to 50 million doses (application dependent)
