With the brand-new SM 620.3 K, we are launching the next generation of our screening machines. This machine enables very high throughput rates, allows large quantities of material to be processed with ease, and still offers flexibility on site. This is ensured by features such as a large feed hopper, a tracked chassis with integrated lifting kinematics for optimal positioning on uneven terrain, and the DualPower drive.
The SM 620.3 K, the mid-range model in our trommel screen series, offers, just like the other models, a choice of three drive options – diesel, electric or DualPower, where both variants are built into one machine. The DualPower drive technology – the smarter hybrid – enables operators to switch flexibly between diesel and electric drive, enabling them to adapt perfectly to the existing infrastructure on site.
The robust tracked chassis also makes the machine easy to manoeuvre on site via remote control. With the integrated lifting kinematics, designed for optimal leveling on uneven terrain, the operator can always find the best working position.
The large feed hopper, with a volume of 7.0 m³ ensures that a large volume of material can be processed at once, thereby achieving a consistently high throughput. The low loading height of 2.9 m and the wide hopper also make loading easier, even with very large wheel loader buckets.
The SM 620.3 K is configured as a 2-fraction trommel screen as standard. However, if required, it can produce up to four fractions in a single pass. The necessary equipment – stone grids for coarse material separation and magnetic rollers for FE separation – is available separately.
