The DU-PUY centralised industrial vacuum cleaner systems allow the suction of solid or dusty material in hazardous conditions. Available with Atex certification, thanks to a power and piping that can both be modulated, they can also vacuum up material over a long distance, or in several places simultaneously. The Du-Puy Atex certified central vacuum cleaners include as standard several features and functionalities including remote local switch-on and switch-off and safety systems to protect the turbine, such as the limiting valve. Suction is provided by a large side channel blower type unit, with direct coupling between the fan and the motor shaft and no transmission system. It is therefore completely maintenance-free, suitable for 24/7 service, very quiet and provides exceptional suction performance for working in Atex certified areas. A safety switch stops the motor in case of overheating. The control board is located inside a metal casing, in a safe position at the back, and includes two independent ON and OFF switches, an emergency safety stop button and a star delta motor starter. A vacuum indicator allows constant monitoring of suction performance and detection of filter clogging. A pressure relief valve protects the motor from overheating in the event of filter clogging or other blockages in the suction system; a diffuser filter reduces the speed and noise of the exhaust air.
