The Cubilette. A compact device for adjusting the height of American-style boxes to the product inside, enabling local cardboard marking and cutting to reduce package volume and transport costs. The machine handles multiple box formats without mechanical adjustments and accepts used cartons and various void-filling materials.

Operation (e.g. model C2 fully mechanical)

• Operator identifies the highest point of the product inside the box
• Operator positions the box corner under the probe where the high point is located
• Operator actuates the lever
• Operator repeats for remaining corners, actuating the lever at each corner (3rd, 4th)
• The box is locally marked and cut at the product level
• Operator folds the flaps created by the Cubilette
• Box is closed manually or with an automatic taping machine → optimized volume
