Power-Elec-6 - LoRaWAN and Modbus multi-circuit power meterThe Power-Elec-6 is designed to simplify electrical sub-metering deployments for new installations and retrofits and to support ISO 50001 energy-management requirements.
Main functionsWith 6 RJ45 inputs, the meter measures up to 6 three-phase circuits or 18 single-phase circuits (mix possible). Measurement accuracy is 1% for active power, voltage, current and power factor. Data communication is available via LoRaWAN or wired protocols: Modbus TCP, Modbus RS485 and BACnet IP.
Beyond basic energy metering- Electrical faults and risks: detection of micro-outages, voltage sag and swell, cable overheating, voltage and power imbalance, harmonic distortion rate
- Operating condition monitoring: operating hours and cycle counts, overload detection and efficiency-loss detection
Current transformers and Rogowski coilsOpenable current transformers and Rogowski coils allow non-intrusive current measurement by clipping around conductors, which is ideal for retrofits. They are supplied in kits of 3 and connect to the Power-Elec-6 via an RJ45 cable. Kits include a 2.5 m RJ45 cable and an optional DIN-rail mounting adapter (except flexible Rogowski kits). Openable CTs fit all conductor sizes and can be installed in cabinets with limited space.
Easy installationCompact footprint: 6 DIN modules versus 24 for six separate three-phase meters. Single voltage connection measures up to 6 feeders. Using CTs or Rogowski coils avoids disconnecting conductors from breakers during installation.
Easy configurationConfigure from a laptop or smartphone via Wi‑Fi. Simple interface for quick setup of all connector parameters. The PE6 provides Fresnel diagnostic diagrams to identify CT and Rogowski coil wiring errors and supports CT polarity reversal to correct installation mistakes. Communication protocols such as LoRaWAN can be enabled with one click.
Easy visualizationAfter configuration the PE6 displays real-time measurements on its Wi‑Fi interface (current, voltage, active/reactive power, power factor). The interface can be used with the PE-TAB display to transform the Power-Elec-6 into a real-time monitoring unit.
