OverviewLow Wavefront Distortion Gimbal Mounts provide a low-stress, temperature-resistant mounting solution for 25 mm or 50 mm diameter mirrors. The design uses a flexure spring to relieve stress on the mounted optic and applies a controlled opposing force at the retainer ring contact points for stable retention. A positive locking device increases resistance to vibration and thermal drift. Mounting threads on four of six sides simplify OEM integration.
Key features- Pivot point centered on the optical surface for accurate tip/tilt
- Low-stress flexure-spring mounting to minimize wavefront distortion
- Positive locking device for vibration and temperature stability
- Mounting threads on 4 of 6 sides (facilitates OEM integration)
- Available for 25.0/25.4 mm and 50.0/50.8 mm optic diameters
