Overview
Benchtop EDFA and YDFA fiber amplifiers are turnkey, rack-capable Erbium- (EDFA) or Ytterbium-doped (YDFA) modules designed for laboratory, R&D and production test environments. EDFA units cover 1530–1565 nm; YDFA units cover 1025–1075 nm. These amplifiers deliver high-gain, low-noise amplification with output power >100 mW, available in Single Mode (SM) or Polarization Maintaining (PM) fiber types. Local front-panel control and USB (USB 2.0) remote control enable integration into automated test systems.
