The EFA-SST® high-speed spiral door is a next-generation industrial door designed for energy efficiency, thermal performance and high cycle operation. A technical redesign improves the physical properties of the door leaf and optimises functionality to meet demanding industrial applications.

Cutting-edge insulation
As the first manufacturer to offer thermally separated EFA-THERM® laths as standard on this type, EFAFLEX achieves U-values depending on door size in the range of approx. 0.66–1.52 W/m²K. Fast opening and closing minimise energy transfer between spaces.

Versatile door leaf
The door leaf is robust, airtight and sound-insulating. The number of EFA-CLEAR® transparent laths can be chosen to control natural light. The spiral maintains the curtain at a distance instead of winding it onto a shaft, saving space while ensuring high speed, longevity and effectiveness.

Individual design
Standard finish is aluminium-coloured coating. Laths and steel parts can be painted in almost any RAL colour on request to match building façades and architecture.

Variable solutions
The standard circular round spiral delivers the fastest opening and closing times. Where overhead space is limited, oval spiral and low lintel variants are available for many S-series door types.

High-end safety technology
All EFAFLEX products meet stringent safety standards. EFA-SCAN® laser scanner and other top safety devices are available as integrated solutions to protect people, goods and the door.
