Overview
The EFA-SRT® EC is a hygienic high-speed roll-up door developed in cooperation with the food industry for internal passages with strict hygiene requirements. EC stands for Easy Clean; the standard construction is stainless steel and the elastic curtain meets HACCP and FDA criteria.

Advantages and application
Designed for environments requiring frequent cleaning and compact installation. The roll-up concept saves space and allows installation in confined situations. The design supports foaming and steam-jet cleaning. The product is recommended by the German Association of Food Inspectors (BVLK) for food-industry hygiene applications.

Design and maintenance features
Slanted end shield and winding-shaft cover enable drainage so liquids do not drip onto passageways or goods. The winding-shaft cover can be pivoted upward via pressure dampers for access to the shaft. Frames can be released, opened and locked to facilitate cleaning. Counterweights are corrosion-protected. Electric and electronic components (microprocessors, frequency converters) are housed in a V2A control cabinet, protection class IP65.

Safety and systems
All EFAFLEX products meet high industrial safety standards to protect personnel, goods and the door. Example system: EFA-SCAN® laser scanner, which functions as both pulse generator and safety component.
