Overview
The ALP-FT is a modular horizontal folding door designed for industrial applications requiring low depth, fast operation and effective security. It combines configurable aesthetics with repair-friendly construction and options for thermal separation and corrosion-resistant wash-hall versions.

Details
Individual design options
The ALP-FT offers a wide range of configuration options: field division, muntin arrangement and infill (including real glass) are selectable. Door leaves can be anodized or powder-coated in customer-specified colours (RAL, NCS, IGP, DB, Tiger). Cut-outs for technical feed-throughs are available on request.

Excellent insulation
Thermally separated steel profiles combined with double or triple ESG/VSG glazing deliver strong thermal performance. With a U-value of up to 1.5 W/m²K, heat losses are reduced while large glazed areas provide natural daylight to workspaces.

Integrated wicket door
A virtually threshold-free wicket door can be integrated at any desired position and fitted with an optional panic mortise lock (functions B, D or E) for safe pedestrian access without full door operation.

Delay-free clearance height
The horizontal folding movement frees the full passage height immediately, enabling smooth indoor operations and energy savings outdoors. Series F doors provide good thermal and acoustic insulation while reducing draft and noise.

Perfect for the railway industry
ALP-FT folding doors are well suited to railway new builds and renovations because they require minimal depth and no obstructive suspensions. Customisable cut-outs allow integration of contact wires, overhead lines, cable cars or other technical through-puts.
