EGE’s IDT series presents inductive proximity switches designed with IP67 protection to withstand higher ambient temperatures between -25 and +120 °C prevailing in the extreme and rugged industrial environments. The switches are available in three versions with diameters of 80, 105 and 160 mm and maximum switching distances of 50, 80 and 110 mm. Its robust design ensures special resistant to electromagnetic interferences ensuring optimal reliability. The switch operates with 10...55 V DC or 20...250 V AC. It also additionally develops and implements individual, application-specific sensor solutions as per customer's specification all within short time and an economical price.
Inductive proximity switches
EGE offers special inductive proximity switches for special applications. Focus is on TROPICAL switches which exceed IP 69K with a temperature range up to +120 °C and is optimally suited for corrosive environments. High temperature switches up to 160 °C are also offerd. Other hot area sensors can be used in temperatures up to 250 °C. The lower end of the temperature scale is at -60 °C and applies to the POLAR switches. Large switching distances up to 170 mm and sensors resistant to rolling oils made from PTFE, PP or PEEK are also available for the food industry. Intrinsically safe ex-classified sensors according to ATEX and compact dust-EX and gas-EX sensors complete the product program.
