Overview
The CG3200X is the first OLED model in the ColorEdge family. It integrates EIZO's color management expertise with a Quantum Dot OLED (QD-OLED) panel to deliver precise color reproduction for editing, mastering and post-production workflows. The monitor features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) screen, advanced HDR control (HLG and PQ), deep blacks, high peak luminance and a wide color gamut for faithful reproduction of film and broadcast content.

ABL and luminance control
EIZO's proprietary ABL control system raises luminance thresholds compared to conventional OLEDs to reduce unnecessary dimming during bright scenes. The monitor provides flexible dimming modes: Highlight Dimming (reduces brightness only in the most luminous areas) and Uniform Dimming (reduces brightness evenly across the screen). A blue status indicator signals when ABL is active. Luminance Warning visually indicates clipped areas and, in Highlight Dimming, highlights regions affected by ABL using selectable indicator colors.

Editing and mastering features
The CG3200X supports HLG and PQ (perceptual quantization) transfer functions for broadcast and film production. It offers a custom contrast setting (500:1 to 2000:1 in 100-step increments) to match SDR working conditions, faithful motion support for cinematic frame rates (native 24 Hz and 48 Hz), and anti-glare low-reflection coating for comfortable long sessions.

Color management and workflow integration
The monitor includes a built-in calibration sensor and is compatible with EIZO ColorNavigator software for automated scheduling and high-precision calibration. ColorNavigator API is available to integrate calibration and management functions into third-party applications and networked workflows. Factory Report shipped with each unit documents uniformity, gamma, gamut coverage and color temperature.

Signal processing and image scaling
Sync Signal automates selection of appropriate color settings and EOTF based on input metadata. The monitor supports Nearest Neighbor interpolation for pixel-perfect scaling and conventional interpolation for smooth gradations, selectable via OSD. Additional OSD functions include input color format controls, I/P conversion, zoom and picture expansion.

Design and usability
Immersive two-sided frameless design with a slim upper bezel housing the built-in sensor. A magnetic shading hood is included to reduce ambient glare. Built-in KVM enables controlling multiple connected PCs with a single keyboard and mouse via the monitor's USB hub. Easy-access headphone jack provides direct audio monitoring. Supplied signal cables include USB Type-C and HDMI, and the monitor supports USB upstream (Type-C and Type-B) and two USB Type-A downstream ports.

OLED protection and longevity
Multiple built-in functions reduce the risk of image retention and extend panel life: screen saver that lowers brightness for static images, Pixel Shift (wobbling), Pixel Cleaning (Off Sensing) to compensate degradation, and Thermal Modulation to reduce brightness under high internal temperature. ABL Safe View reduces the displayed area (10% or 25%) to allow previewing content at intended brightness without triggering ABL.

Sustainability and packaging
Parts of the monitor use recycled plastic and the packaging uses molded pulp from recycled cardboard and newspaper; cables are wrapped in paper instead of plastic. EIZO states production sites at its headquarters operate on renewable energy and the product is designed with energy efficiency in mind.

Warranty and quality
The CG3200X is backed by a 5-year manufacturer warranty. Usage notes include time-limited conditions: general usage time limits and a specific limited warranty period for the OLED panel. EIZO provides a zero-bright-sub-pixel guarantee for a defined period from purchase.
