Description

PhotoSonus X is a high output power DPSS tunable laser designed for photoacoustic imaging, suitable for both pre-clinical and clinical applications where fast sample scanning and high-resolution imaging are required. Its high output energy, broad wavelength tuning range, up to 100 Hz repetition rate, and fast wavelength switching make it ideal for high data acquisition rates and high-resolution imaging. The system is built on a diode pumped solid-state laser platform, ensuring quieter operation compared to flash-lamp pumped lasers, which is particularly beneficial for clinical environments. The laser's output can be coupled with almost any type of fiber bundle, and optional features such as an internal energy meter and electromechanical shutter with self-test capability make it ready for certification in clinical photoacoustic applications. The well-engineered system design and diode pumped technology ensure high reliability and low operational costs.
