The networkable annunciators of the series USM provide the functionality and flexibility of the series BSM and add communication interfaces for connection to superior or inferior systems. The new version 4.0 of the USM fault annunciator meets the requirements of digital fault annunciator technology even more, especially with regard to the further improved IT security and the modernized event recorder. Through the Modbus protocol information or states can be exchanged and through IEC 60870-5-101/104 and IEC 61850 single and double alarms can be transmitted e.g. to a SCADA system and single and double commands can be received in the opposite direction and issued from the annunciator. In addition, analog inputs enable the monitoring of limit values. In our download area, cost-free available EPLAN macros facilitate the creation of circuit diagrams and a smart parameterisation concept ensures that the installation and commissioning of the interfaces is easier than ever!
Simply display alarm information via web server
8-48 alarms are processed in compact housing sizes at various different voltage levels with adjustable response delays per channel. Now they can also be registered and archived accordingly in the free event recorder. The high-performance event recorder can be displayed in the web server and includes the storage of information and occurring errors via the device (Syslog) as well as the storage of incoming and outgoing alarms. The alarm memory comprises 100,000 alarms and is designed as a ring buffer. Downloading the data for further processing in Excel is also possible.
