Adhesimeter cross hatch cutter SecoTest

Overview
The cross cut test enables assessment of adhesion of single and multiple coatings on hard (e.g. steel) and soft (e.g. wood) substrates. SecoTest is a cross hatch cutter designed to perform tests according to DIN EN ISO 2409 and ASTM D3359-02; ISO 4624 can be applied for quantitative adhesion measurement.

SecoTest features a sturdy holder for the six-edge tool-steel multi-cutting blade and a rotatable non-slip grip that prevents blade canting. The cutter head is movable to allow precise positioning and repeatable incision patterns. For reproducible results, condition the test specimen as recommended (see DIN EN ISO 2409, section 6) and record ambient conditions for on-site tests.
